OUR MISSION

At Equip Rehabilitation, we are passionate about your success. Our mission is to create a new standard for in-home rehabilitation by offering a tailored way to meet your needs.

We do not focus on your impairments. Instead, we embrace your individual goals and work to achieve your potential. We understand this requires a personal approach as we work together to return you to life’s most meaningful activities.

We do this all within a comfortable home environment to optimise the results for the effort you put in.

ABOUT US

STEVE

Stephen is the founder and director of Equip Rehabilitation, with over 15 years of experience working in neurological rehabilitation, disability, and complex care.

After completing his studies at Griffith University, Stephen worked in neurological rehabilitation roles at Gold Coast University Hospital and Rockhampton Base Hospital before founding Equip Rehabilitation in 2019.

His belief is simple: rehabilitation should be about more than just getting someone “safe” at home. It should help people rebuild confidence, reconnect with identity, and get back to living meaningful lives.

Today, Stephen leads a team focused on real-world rehabilitation for people living with neurological and complex physical conditions across the Gold Coast.

Health and exercise has always been a priority in Juliann’s life. She is passionate about helping others achieve their own physical activity goals, and making sure they are getting the most out of their bodies. She uses pain management strategies such as soft tissue release and dry needling, as well as individualised exercise programs to target balance, coordination, stiffness and strengthening to help patients live comfortably and move safely.

When Juliann isn’t working, she’s busy being a mum to two young daughters and participating in various athletic pursuits including running, swimming and kayaking. She also looks forward to her annual overseas holiday to visit her family in Canada and New Zealand.
